The Fitz is an iconic institution in the heart of Fitzroy, one of Melbourne’s most famous suburbs, and has been beloved by generations of locals. Instantly recognisable by its signature bronze sign jutting out over Brunswick Street, The Fitz has a rich history. Originally opening as The Fitz – Fruit & Juicery, it evolved into The Fitz Café in 1986 and is today proudly known as The Fitz Café & Rooftop.
It is widely celebrated as one of Melbourne’s longest-running cafés.
